Welcome to Vibrant Minds Learning Collective!

Welcome to Vibrant Minds Learning Collective (VMLC), where students thrive in a space designed just for them.

VMLC is a full-day enrichment hub for middle schoolers who are enrolled in Lee Virtual School and need more than just a screen to succeed. We blend the flexibility of virtual learning with the structure, support, and engagement of in-person education. Designed for students who benefit from small groups, personalized attention, and real-world connection, VMLC provides a bridge between home-based learning and the full public school experience.

Here, students don’t fall through the cracks. They receive daily academic support, mentorship, and enrichment in a safe, welcoming environment—while still having full access to the resources provided by the district.

VMLC supports students in staying enrolled in public school while offering the in-person consistency and care they need to thrive. This includes access to district curriculum, certified virtual teachers, IEP/504 accommodations, mental health support, and eligibility for school-sponsored activities like sports and clubs.

What We Offer at VMLC:

🟠 Certified Teachers
Through the school district, students engage with experienced, certified teachers to ensure they’re meeting academic standards and making meaningful progress in core subjects.

🟠 Hands-On, Project-Based Learning

🟠 Enrichment & Cultural Outings
From field trips to guest speakers, our program connects students with their community and opens their minds to new experiences.

🟠 Daily Meals Provided
Thanks to our generous community partners, every student receives a nutritious breakfast and lunch—free of charge.

🟠 Outdoor Learning & Movement
We intentionally build outdoor time into each day to support physical activity, wellness, and connection to nature.

🟠 Connected to District Resources
Students remain enrolled in Lee Virtual School and can still participate in district-supported programs like sports, clubs, mental health counseling, ESE support, and academic accommodations.

VMLC isn’t just a place to learn—it’s a place to belong, grow, and succeed.
Join us in reimagining education for the next generation of learners.

What is Lee Virtual School?

USNEWS_Badge-Middle-Generic.png

Lee Virtual School (LVS) is a school within the School District of Lee County offering full time and part time online instruction for students K-12.

As a public school within the district, LVS follows the district school calendar, policies, and course progressions.

Our virtual education opportunity offers students a flexible, innovative, and customized learning model that supports their individual needs, while satisfying state requirements for completion.

LVS offers both regular and advanced courses.

LVS offers a standard high school diploma that meets state and school board requirements.

LVS offers part time enrollment for students in traditional schools who would like to take courses their school may not offer, work ahead to graduate early, and/or to meet the State of Florida’s virtual requirement for graduation.

Many 8th grade students take a part time course to eliminate some of the elective requirements of high school in order to take other electives offered by their school of enrollment.

Our full-time high school students are able to work ahead and graduate early if desired.

Our graduates then go on to postsecondary education, opportunistic employment, and military services.

LVS is dedicated to upholding our mission to expand access for all students to rigorous, relevant curriculum that incorporates skills and knowledge students need to succeed in a global society.
